Greater Things Christian School
Home of the WARRIORS
and the 4-DAY School Week!
The mission of Greater Things Christian School is to engage and educate the whole student: heart, mind, and will. We accomplish this mission by delivering quality academics with a differentiated approach to instruction from a Christian perspective.
Our unique 4 + 4 Schedule for grades K+ offers a 4-Day School week, Monday-Thursday, with 4 mandatory “FUN Friday” field trip days per year: one each quarter. Our days are slightly longer (7:45 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), but our weekends are longer, too, offering more family time.
Our Extended Care Options
We offer extended care from 6:15 a.m.-5:45 p.m. In addition to our four-day school week, we offer Focus Fridays with additional academic activities and projects, as well as tutoring as needed.
GTCS is located about 3 miles from I-40’s Exit 182, near the corner of Highway 96 and White Bluff Road at 2612 White Bluff Road in Burns, Tennessee.
Greater Things Christian School is a Christian Schools International (CSI) Accreditation Candidate for dual accreditation with CSI and Cognia (Advanced Ed). Our GTCS Little Warriors preschool program is approved by the Tennessee Department of Education.
